Haven't watched it yet. They dropped BBC America from my cable package. Which basically is the last straw for having cable and I'm gonna drop it for playstation vue.

I'm kind of hoping Nardole stays on as a companion for a while.

I wasn't to fond of the episode. Felt like they were just copying scenes from Superman. It had been a year since the last Doctor Who episode, so I had forgotten the references to The Husbands of River Song.

Judging by the spoilers to the next season, that new companion comes across as a bit annoying if not needed at all.

they officially announced next season will be Capaldi's last so people are gonna go crazy speculating who the next Doctor will be at will be all actors who certainly wouldn't take on a show for multiple seasons.

Personally I think they should do a season where his regeneration is unstable and he keeps changing form so then they can get a whole bunch of different actors to guest star as The Doctor.

Kind of sad about that, but honestly Capaldi's doctor was not handled well and that was due to the awful writing for most of his seasons

Totally agree.

Too many episodes trying to separate Capaldi's acting credibility from the horrible scripts he was given.

Seems to be a recurring formula though.
Introduce a new companion to take the focus away from changing Doctors.

Fun trivia.
The western town, Sergio Leone built for A Fistful is now like a crummy amusement park in Spain.

Both the Doctor Who episode with the cyborg cowboy & 2 episodes of Penny Dreadful were filmed there.
