He's got a new independent company(complete with a sexy logo), and it's been announced that he's working on a new title that's console exclusive for Sony.

Hahahaha best meltdown.

Also one I agree with.

BUT TO BE BLAIR, Kojima has always had a closer relationship with Sony than Nintendo.

MGS still has 2 exclusives on Sony platforms. (1 and 4)

Nintendo has only ever managed weird remakes or offshoots that don't sell well.

Twin Snakes received great reviews. I don't waste time playing the MGS series though.

Hopefully Konami buries it in pachinko machines, for good.

Kojima was also a huge fan of the Game Boy Color Metal Gear Solid (MG: Ghost Babel in Japan)

A poster even shows up in MGS2, and the AI Colonel mentions Galuade in a rant.

An item description for one of the guns in MGS4 mentions how Snake used it in Galuade...the setting of Ghost Babel.

But they don't sell well, which is what I said. Twin Snakes definitely under-performed.

MGS3D on 3DS also bombed in sales. There's no playthroughs of it whatsoever on YouTube. Just some old trailers/proof of concept (Naked Sample) and I think one IGN comparison video of how it stacks up, visually, to the original PS2 release and HD edition.

(long story short, better character models, worse everything else)

I didn't even know there was a MGS3D.

Yup.

Replaced all the Kerotans with Yoshis, introduced TPS shooting and crouch walking AND supports the Circle Pad Pro.

I bought it when it came out and have never seen it in a store since.

The original had a pretty bad framerate; this one is even worse.

Still enjoyable, and gameplay-wise it's the definitive version.
