New Batman vs Superman Trailer
« on: December 03, 2015, 01:27:17 AM »
Prob deserves its own topic also:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kW9ZqFxRaQY

My opinions:

Actually looked pretty cool....right up until Zuckerberg shoved his face into things. Wayne pointing out the obvious hypocrisy of Clark Kent criticising Batman/him as a vigilante. And the "I just have a bad history with freaks dressed like clowns" line was pretty good.
Then Lex Zuckerberg...

Also - HUGE STUPID FUCKING MISTAKE - to reveal that they all team up to fight Doomsday in the fucking trailer. Jesus.

After all the brouhaha Affleck looks like the best thing about the movie based on those interactions.

Doomsday looks like bad concept art for '08 Hulk's Abomination.

Zuckerberg Lex needs a backhand.

EDIT: Safado's going to freakout!

Heroes look good. Doomsday looks like a troll from Lotr.

Yeah, Doomsday's eyes are too far apart.  Looks weird.

Lex annoys me.  Why is it so hard for movies to have a Lex Luthor who is intimidating?

Otherwise, I like the exchanges between Superman and Batman.

Is it just me or did they spoil the ENTIRE movie in that trailer?

I was one of the few defending the casting choice for Luthor but...after this not feeling it so much.

And one of my friends raised a good point, that whole "Is she with you?" "I thought she was with you" exchange was not funny the first time nor was it funny the 50th time.

But there were some positives. I think the actual fight between Batman vs Superman is going to be badass. I am also excited for this desert scene that Batman is in, and are those flying creatures in the background? Hm.

I also liked the exchange between Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent.

Mixed feelings about the trailer but I'm excited nonetheless.

The exchange was good I agree. Maybe Lex is putting on a act?

Decent. Luthor is the worst. Bruce should instantly recognize Clark as he's not even trying to act or sound differently.

I think the main issue with Zuckerberg/Lex is portraying him at too young an age to be taken as a credible villain. He's got the rich spoilt brat/genius persona happening & it's coming off too comical.
I get more of a Riddler vibe than Lex Luthor.
Also reminds me of bloody Depp playing Wonka.
Not good.

Really stupid to show the team up against Doomsday. It lessens the rivalry between Bats & Supes.

Ha ha the "Is she with you" scene...I would've loved to see the camera pull away & see both Bats & Supes perving on WW's ass instead of all of them staring at Doomsday!

I got the feeling from that scene that Bruce already knows & is just being passive/aggressive.

Yup, undercuts the marketing engine they've been building this whole time, starting with the title and going forward...

Surely DC knew fans were going ga ga with the rumour mill of Doomsday (& Zod).
They shouldn't have confirmed them in the trailer & given the fanboys their "Wow" moment in the cinema.

Yeah, Doomsday's eyes are too far apart.  Looks weird.

Probably because Michael Shannon's eyes are far apart.

Yeah, he is kinda funny looking. Also, his lines for this movie must've been very easy to memorize.
