Hah, and in the leaked pilot I watched, the heat vision used to make his axe explode was colored white instead of red.  Not sure if they kept that in the aired version, but lol.

The way she looks up and takes a deep breath before every line is weird.

Past the part where she meets Hanks Henshaw. Somewhat intrigued, suckage meter slightly lowered from red to yellow.

Side note: although I know makeup is keeping her face together? Calista Flockhart looks quite fuckable. Age has added on enough pounds where she doesn't look like the patron saint of anorexia anymore.

More to follow.

1st fight with Axe guy. All the corny female empowerment dialogue is sooooo subtle.

Creeping back towards red.

Side note: am I the only one that notices that all of the most powerful and most capable agents in shield on the TV show agents of shield are all women? And they don't need hokey lip service from dialogue to show they stand neck and neck with the men?

Downgraded to full on Red.

I literally laughed out loud when she watches the hologram of her mother and reaches out to it. God awful actress. I'd fuck her though.

Yeah exactly. The average man can easily enjoy a strong female protagonist. Agents of SHIELD, Xena, Agent Sculley, Lara Croft, etc, etc, etc. Its when you keep going "raw raw girl power!" we stop watching.

I think the pilot is fine. Pilot's are generally mediocre because they cram a ton of shit together. So much to explain in a short period.

Granted, the actress for Kara is mediocre. But I can see her growing into the role like Tom Welling did.
