That was a satisfying conclusion.
As per usual, great character interplay, and they blew the bank on some nice action FX.
The Superman/Lois development reminds me that i read somewhere a CW Superman series HAS been discussed. It’d be nice to see the character done well.

Ollie was of course awesome, as the weakest member of the group having the most badass ‘you’re gonna listen to me’ moment.
Secondary characters from all across the shows, and Psycho Pirate...oh Psycho Pirate. That shit gave me tingles.

On the 40th anniversary of the OG Superman movie, Barry and Kara give us their version of the cheesiest but most memorable moment in that movie. Sweet.

The Arrowverse is everything the DCEU could have been, if they’d really tried. Arrow and MoS premiered only 8 months apart, but the CW, on basically a shoestring budget (compared to what movies get to play with), using 90% secondary characters and actors, have managed to engagingly world build the fuck out of their DC, and are now positioned to tackle the Holy Grail of the Company’s many classic stories next fall.
The DCEU? Not so much.

Yeah, I think that's partly because the shows can take some risks. Movies play it so safe, so utterly focus on getting their huge investment back by using only the most financially proven methods, that they end up as horrible frankensteins. Justice League was half the financially proven tone of the Nolan Batman films, and half the financially proven tone of the Avengers, and full of financially proven tropes, and it was fucking awful.

Well JL was made by 2 different directors with 2 completely different styles. I don't think that was a case of the studio trying to play it safe. They were trying to salvage what Snyder left over.

So after the Crisis do you think there gonna merge the CW show and Supergirl and black lightning will co exist in the same universe as the others.

Looks like Kara has her own version of Amanda Waller going on. Haley came off as a raging bitch on wheels this ep. From enslaving alien kids, which provided the main plot, right up to her last scene.
While i gave the show more credit than to go the ‘oh she saved me i’ll keep her secret now’ route, Haley’s IMMEDIATE bid to blackmail Kara upon being rescued was just awesome in establishing her lack of redeeming qualities.
She didnt even TRY and be subtle.

Yeah Facebook Luthor set the bar low.

The sad thing is if he had actually acted like he did in the Facebook movie, that would have been an excellent Lex. Instead, he acted like...I was about to say Joker, but even that's too much of a compliment. He acted like the Tommy Lee Jones Two-Face acting like Joker. That same vibe of some exec ramming a square peg of characterization into a round hole.

Seriously. Its one thing to have quirks but another thing to be so weird he can literally never be normal. I'm sorry but Lex Luthor should ALWAYS be able to do business related things such as making a speech.
