Death and reign was pretty good
Maybe the animated version back in full form

I think so! I mean, how many of us were waiting for the Justice League Unlimited universe to return??

Don't bother.  We're banning you.  It's being discussed in the mod forum as we speak.

Anyone else bummed out about Ben Affleck Batman?

I feel like he let us down. Us fans gave him another chance after Daredevil, genuinely. There was a lot of hype around an older Batman that Ben Affleck himself helped craft.

He had Batman in the palm of his hands. He could direct, write, act in it, or hand out the roles and just be involved in producing and acting in it. Instead he 'couldn't crack it.'

Couldn't..crack..it? One of the coolest opportunities EVER!?

Ugh, what a letdown.

Think the failure of his gangsta flick broke him down

That and the rumors he was leaving was kind of a self fulfilling prophecy

Dude seem like a sensitive artist type

I'm guessing it had more to do with studio meddling.  WB can't leave things alone.

He definitely gave off that, "I don't want to be here in front of the camera playing this character" vibe for JL.

His interactions with Gadot was dismal compared to actually trying in BVS.

They’re making a Trench spinoff movie without Mera or Aquaman

Wonder if any of this has to do with anticipating Godzilla 2's potential success and assuming there will be a growing demand for those type of movies.

Very likely. I’m all for a horror comic book movie. Be different tone then we usually see and could explore some lovecraftian creatures too

Sounds like the New Mutants movie (which was going to be horror) might not be released due to Disney/Fox merger. So DC could get a job on being the first to do it
