Warlock not coming to the show:

http://www.cbr.com/adam-warlock-avengers-infinity-war/

It's kind of pointless to even have him if he's not gonna be dealing with Infinity Gauntlet stuff if you ask me.

He's done far more than just be in the IG storyline.

But that is what he's best known for, so to have him in the MCU and not have him involved in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline in some capacity is pointless.

Only if you're thinking of comic fans, which don't make up the majority of the viewership. The point would be t introduce a character that fans are familiar with but, more importantly, can add something different to the GOTG cast/franchise. Hell, none of the GOTG (or Ironman) act like their comic counterparts.

It's one thing for them not to act like their counterparts, it's another thing to have an adaptation of the story someone is best known for, but not have them involved.  It's like doing Civil War without Cap and Iron Man.

No, because Tony and Cap were the main characters in Civil War. Warlock wasn't that in Infinity Gauntlet. His importance to that story is overstated, as he basically sits the whole thing out and just happens to get the glove by luck. Thanos is actually the MC of that story.

And even if he were, that's an argument for them not to do IW. It isn't a reason to not ever bother with the character.

Well, if you think Warlock's involvement in the Infinity Saga is overstated, then what would you consider his definitive story?

I couldn't begin to tell you, as I'm not the biggest fan of the character. Which could be a good thing as it gives them more flexibility with his MCU portrayal.

The whole Inifinity Gauntlet story was a chapter in the Warlock/Thanos Saga. Him not being there is a travesty.

Yeah, Warlock not being in Part 1 is fine, but he really should be there for Part 2. I t's the most noteworthy thing he's ever done.

Looks great. I like how down to Earth Spidey is. Like he could fit right in with the Netflix heroes taking down street crime. So when a legit super villain like Vulture shows up? Terrifying.

Of the 10 villains, so far as things of this nature can be remembered going back afore the days the board crashes, 9 filled with dread and cursed in vain at the sight of Master.
