What does the Disney/Fox buyout mean for Dark Horse?

figure this belonged here given it's more comics related

But damn......so much of what Dark Horse publishes comes from Fox, and like Star Wars, I can only imagine would be headed Marvel's way.

Alien, Predator, Buffy, etc.

Not that Dark Horse can't get by, but I have to imagine this could potentially take a huge chunk out of them

For a while, Dark Horse was mostly licensed property.  While that's still a huge chunk of their bread and butter, they still have Hellboy, manga, etc.  They can probably get by.  Expect The Mask to make a return.

I'd rather see Constantine brought back.  It was actually a pretty damn good show.

It's weird that Marvel has been the only comic universe that hasn't gone up against Predators and Aliens.  I mean, we have DC, Wildstorm, Valiant, Judge Dredd, and even Archie meeting up with one or both of them, but never any Marvel characters.

Marvel calls Aliens The Brood.  Predators The Shi'ar Imperial guard!

Predators could maybe be fun for a one-off with certain characters, but Dlb is right, The Brood were such (excellent) knockoffs that they make the xenomorphs redundant

The Xenomorphs are weak shit compared to the Brood.

Yeah, the Brood combine the ferocity and feral weaponry of the Xenos with Borglike organization and the organic technology of the Wamphyri.
