            Cold
Leftover homemade Meatloaf and Swiss w/ lettuce, mayo & BBQ sauce on Sourdough bread.

            Hot Sub
Steak & Provolone w/ sautéed Mushroom, Green Peppers & Onions. Light Mayo on both sides of a toasted roll
'cause justice is the one thing you should always find.

Two years after I first posted in here, I have to say I've shifted more toward the philly roast pork italian with sharp provolone and broccoli raab (or spinach). Long hots or even sundried tomatoes optional.

And i was definitely lax in not mentioning peanut butter and jelly the first time. Raspberry ideally.

I couldn't agree more. There are a lot of solid ones - John's and Shanks in South Philly for starters and even a lot of unknown places - but DiNic's has top spot on lock down.

Sliced. I usually prefer actual crumbled sausage but because of the abundance of the other ingredients I think I prefer the slices for this.

Top notch place for reals

I like both. Sliced dried chorizo is better for sandwiches though.

Those prices aren't bad. My favorite sandwich place cost me about $9 so a couple bucks more in NYC is more than reasonable.

Avoid prosciutto cotto or salame if you can.
Prosciutto crudo is better even if there have been scandals here about the way these pigs were nourished...
