The Canadian teams will have to pull their collective heads out of their collective asses, first. I've gone into Edmonton's numerous problems before, but Toronto has the same issues of reshuffling the deck chairs while keeping the same idiotic people up at the top. Vancouver was a team full of cowardly pussies who couldn't score, but still managed to blame their losses on their goalie (who of course is doing fine elsewhere, isn't he?). Calgary lost most of their best talent, and is still restructuring despite never having hit a really big "peak" to start with. Montreal's the only one that seems to be doing okay.

Space for proverbial "Are they still in the league" joke.

(I didn't forget you either, Ottawa. Though it would be easy to.)

Penguins were down by 2. Then they scored 3 times in 55 seconds and won the game 5-4.

Now that the Predators took out the Ducks, I'm hoping the Penguins win. That 3 goals in 55 seconds is one of the most impressive comebacks I've ever seen.

I, also, hope that.

Well that was disappointing, I thought Ottawa might have pulled it off tonight.

Las Vegas, may have a pretty team once the draft and trades are completed. Many of the unprotected players are of decent stock... Grinders mainly but pretty decent.

How long before the NHL as to prop up the Knights like they did with the Coyotes?

That didn't age well at all.

Ha! I'm super excited for the Knights because I love Fleury, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Who knows where that team will be in a decade. But yeah, from what I heard, the city is friggin' BONKERS for this team. Good for them.

Don't feel too bad. The Golden Knights accomplishments this year are unique within the four major sports history afaik. I hope they win it all. They are such an efficient, smart team. They consistently score two to four goals a game and normally make that hold up with goal tending and defensive support. The coaches are on point with the system.

The Coyotes are as pathetic as ever. Worst record in the west, second worst overall. With (deserved) expansion in Seattle looming, I guess they are all but locked in to fail in Arizona for the forseeable future. But damn, twenty plus years in Phoenix and Vegas already has more playoff series wins than the Coyotes overall. Even upon losing here, the Jets have as many just since their return to Winnipeg a few seasons ago.

The only downside to the Knights potentially winning it all is that it makes Gary Bettman look like a halfway competent commissioner.
