Is he a good guy or a bad guy in it?

He's like a good version of Baxter Stockwell from the A-Team. I'm sure he'll be in the next one.

Just a guy, guy.
I like this; I'm stealing it and putting it on a business card.

Just saw it. Great movie, but you could tell they only got half of Paul Walker's scenes done. It kind of went from Dom and Brian being in charge and everyone else following them, to Dom being the alpha and Brian being in the crew. It was plainly obvious that they were missing a fuckton of dialogue from Paul. But I guess this finished film was the best possible outcome without killing off the Brian character. Also, Ronda Rousey should not quit her day job.  Even the two or three linee she had, she delivered terribly.

I saw it last night.  This franchise is now reachign cartoon levels of ridiculousness.  Rock breaks an arm?  No prob.  He'll just flex his muscle hard enough to break the cast.  Then he'll ramp an ambulance off a bridge into an exploding drone and walk out through the windshield like nothing happened.

And yes, it was obvious Paul Walker only filmed a few scenes.  Most of the time, he's just in the background and they often shot him with part of his face concealed or something.  In the beach scene, it was obvious it was one of his much-skinnier brothers and they CGI'd his face in.

As for the plot, the whole espionage thing came out of left field.  At first, they were supposed to be going after Statham, then all of a sudden, Kurt Russel pops up and says, "Wait, before you can catch Statham, you have to be in a James Bond plot".  Not even sure why Dom and his crew agreed since Statham could somehow find them even when they were on a secret mission in Abu Dhabi.

And yes, Rousey was terrible in the two or three lines she had.  Sheesh!

Also, holy shit the Rock looked fucking huge in this movie. When he comes out of the office to give Dom's ex his recommendation letter? Christ. Had to have Shaw blow him halfway to hell with that grenade. Would take a huge leap to believe Shaw could drop Hobbs hand to hand.

That chick who played Ramsey is so goddamn hot.

Is everyone in the crew still millionaires?

Rock is clearly roided to shit. Movie was over the top fun.  It's also killing at the box office right now. Already at almost $500 million worldwide.

Yeah, had to use the knives  after that Rock bottom.

I read Brewster's shot her calls with Walker after he passed, very impressed with her being able to get through that.

I love how Dom gets into like 3 or 4 WTF car crashes with nary a broken bone. With all that and lifting cars and throwing people around and shit, he is clearly metahuman.

It reminds me of Julian in Trailer Park Boys flipping a car, then climbing out with his rum and coke in hand, not have spilled a drop.

And if he does get hurt, all he needs is for his wife to say she loves him and he's totally fine.

Worked for Neo.

Sadly, Furious 7 was more entertaining than the entire Matrix Trilogy.
