Okay, I gave up on JMS's Spidey way earlier than most. Save for the first story arc, I thought his run was either "meh" or bad. Then he had Gwen Stacy and Norman Osborn have twins together and that's when I jumped ship.

Gave up on Green Lantern when Jen dumped Kyle while he was in space. Also, have not read a single Hal Jordan comic since because Kyle is better. And the same goes with West and Boring Barry. Honestly, DC got to a point where they pretty much told my generation of readers to screw off. I've heard it's gotten better, but it still felt like I was told "we don't want you anymore."

Thats a good point on fucking off.
While i grew up on Hal and Barry, i consider Kyle and OG Wally to be -my- GL/Flash (Connor Hawke i never had strong feelings about). Kyle’s treatment especially, was awful, though Wally has quickly caught up in that regard no pun intended.
