Which Miller rendition was more influential to how the characters were perceived afterwards?

Which one was more influential to the comic industry as a whole?

Which one do you like better?

Which Miller rendition was more influential to how the characters were perceived afterwards?
Daredevil. Batman already had some hardboiled pulp influence before Miller came around, albeit applied inconsistently. Miller mostly just strengthened a tendency that was already there with Batman. With Daredevil, he truly reinvented a character on the verge of cancellation because he was written as just Spider-Man, but less interesting.

Which one was more influential to the comic industry as a whole?
Batman, if only because more writers cared about Batman and were more likely to parrot anything with him that worked.

Which one do you like better?
Daredevil. There's a charm to the story of Daredevil's life being destroyed by Kingpin, and Daredevil still being happy as a poor cook at a diner because he's with the woman he loves.

^^^pretty much my opinions, too.
DD was the bigger revamp. He was all over the place in terms of...tone? Miller narrowed his focus and gave him defining qualities.
Batman was always a creture of the night that always seemed out of place in lighter stories, still does.

I like his DD better.

Miller did more for DD than he did for Batman and his Daredevild was also far more likable.

I definitely ENJOYED his work on Daredevil substantially more.

I really can't say. His influence on both characters is so overwhelming that it's impossible to imagine what they'd be like if he had never written them. Yes, his DD run was on the regular series, and for longer. But his Dark Knight mini is just so iconic that even years and years later I see it influencing specific scenes by other writers.
