I love how they we're like, "if we do this remake we don't fuck with Mufasa."

JEJ has looked the same since the Sandlot.

I might watch it eventually but I don't have any real interest in it. I tried watching the Beauty and the Beast remake and turned it off halfway through as there wasn't anything different other then it was live action.

This looks to be more of the same.  It looks to be a shot-for-shot remake.

Yeah, the live-action version was just visually bland compared to the cartoon. If they really want to do remakes, I'd prefer computer-animated versions over live-actions. Imagine Disney remakes as visually interesting as Wreck-It-Ralph.

I agree with you on Beauty and the Beast but Jon Favrau is doing this one annd he did a great job with Jungle Book remake.

This remake is suffering from political correctness, its bad enough Scars song "Be Prepared" is not in this movie.

Maybe they will make Timon and Pumbaa a gay couple. Just like how the 2017 Beauty and the Beast had LeFou be gay and hinted he is in love with Gaston.

Having Mufasa die in a realistic way is going to be horrible to see.

I'm glad Disney's long tradition of traumatizing young kids for profit, remains intact.

Wasn't that much fo a stretch, really.  The dude wrote a song about him.

Not getting Jeremy Iron back for Scar is some bullshit but will still see this like 19 times at least.

Jungle Book I did like but at least it wasn't an exact remake. I haven't seen the animated one since I was little but I remember he left to go live with the humans at the end whereas in the live action one he didn't.

Somehow it'll suck, like all of Disney's live action remakes have been.
