Shit all the Netflix shows do is tiptoe around the movies. Battle for NY nah we have to call it the incident.  Hulk nah we have to say the green guy.

You're looking at it from a nerd/geek perspective. As far as the general audience goes (and they matter much more than our niche group), the TV/Netflix shows aren't limited at all. Hell, even from my perspective, the shows have still managed to do quite a bit. they don't need to reference the films anymore than they already have. that's just fanservice stuff anyways.

They've mentioned Captain America, Crusher Creel, Tony Stark (and Iron Man), and The Raft by name.  The Accords were hinted at as well.  Then you have Hammer tech playing a huge role in both seasons of Luke Cage.  Meanwhile, Iron Fist showed Sokovia a few times in the second season where it played an important role in Typhoid Mary's backstory.  Then you have all the NY Bullentin easter eggs like the one showing a Leviathan and the other talking about Cybertek.  They don't tip toe that much.

Oh, and Roxxon has appeared in every Netflix show as well as that one news station that always pops up in the shows and movies.

Roxxon is the big one. It ties the Ironman movies directlt to Agent Carter, the Netflix shows, and Cloak and Dagger. The only show that doesn't have a direct tie to the rest yet us Runaways.

I enjoy the crossovers. I don't trust DC not to somehow screw this up though.

Agree w. the last 3 posts, the connections are there, they dont necessarily beat you over the head w. them.

And DC doesnt inspire confidence in this area.

They have acknowledged the  multiverse, if that's what you mean.

They even did it when Flash and Supergirl were on different channels.

The CW shows (which i’m glad Supergirl and Constantine joined) have established a fine shared universe, despite DC, not because of it imo.
Not easy to do either, considering the different sub genres they all represent. Slowly introducing more fantastical elements in Arrow, which led to the Flash...it was very well done.

So if the suits at Warner Bros had any clue then a "Crisis" crossover between Movies,& TV would be amaze balls!

I actually brought this up awhile ago. The only way for WB/DC to "beat" Marvel is to do something they never have and that's a TV/Movie COIE-based crossover.

EGGS ZACK LEE!this would rock,& would fix all of their movie continuity issues imo!
