Wont it get to confusing..or over extending themselves.

Here what we have so Far

Arrow Verse
Flash
Arrow
Legend of Tomorrow
Supergirl- Even though she in her own reality

Maybe Arrowverse- Black lighting

Coming out down the road- Batwoman

Fuck batman universe
Titans
coming out Doom Patrol
Swamp thing...I THINK that in the same universe
stargirl

own universe
Gotham

Coming out

Secret Six on CBS

Alfred on Epix....yes this is happening already got an actor. So another Batman Series WITHOUT batman. We can have superman on supergirl. It should be no reason Batman existence can be confirm in Batwoman

Metrolis-  A prequel on DC universe. It metropolis before Superman with Lex and Lois solving crimes or some shit

Lucifer

Seem like lot. Although suprise they dont a little away from supeheros and go into Vertigo more.  Like a proper Done Human target series or a 100 Bullets might be bad ass. Or unwritten would be great

How will it be confusing? The average viewer doesn't care about multiverses like that. If 2 characters show up on a show together, they aren't going to really question the how/why of it.

Exactly.

Hell, Supergirl & Flash are under the same umbrella and each seems to have its own version of the LoSH.

I prefer it u see what a pain in the ass the trying to have everything in the same universe is for the MCU. It's easier for everyone the way DC is doing it.

What the MCU is doing neither seems like a pain in the ass nor is it confusing.

There are benefits and downside to doing it both ways. Since DC can't seem to coordinate it's probably in their best interest.

Yeah, the MCU is a bad example to use as a reason a shared universe is a bad idea.

Yeah, the MCU is practically the only shared universe that has been successful.

Keep in mind that the MCU started out only as loosely connected stories, which was a good thing. There would be nods to other franchises, but each one stood on its own, at least initially. This let each franchise get its own feel. The Netflix moved a bit away from this, and all of their shows have the same mood.

So while it doesn't take anything away from the DC shows to be in separate universes, there's no real reason to make them that way. I think it would be cooler if they did share the same universe, and just rarely interacted. Maybe have some villains cross over from one series to another.

I'm talking mostly about how the TV and movie side are connected.  It really limits what the tv side can do.  While the CW can do bigger stories because they dont' have that problem.

I disagree. SHIELD seems to be the only show that was ever really limited. And DC has done as much if not more limiting of it's CW shows which is why Deadshot, Waller, and the Suicide Squad were all taken away from Arrow.

Which is odd since they didn't shy away from slapping a Superman onto Supergirl.

Thats all true, especially that last. A DC shared universe is obviously a weakness for them.

with Netflix. It's a little to much in the other direction. it doesnt feel connected and limits what character they can use

and would say agent Carter a a bit limited. and inhumas

don't know about runaways or cloak and dagger. havent seen them
