What do you think about the Ving Rhames thing where cops almost shot him in the doorway of his own home.

Knocking on someone’s door - especially when there’s no sign of a forced entry - with your guns pre-drawn seems incredibly stupid. Rhames is lucky he was able to keep cool, many people would panic and likely get shot as a result.

You'd think the homeowner being one Ving Rhames might've come up before they went in.

"Large intimidating-looking black guy, you say? And the name listed on the house is....Ving Rhames? Ehhhh, wait a minute...."

I dunno, one would figure police departments would keep track of any notable residents in their towns. Racism or not, money is money. Unless Ving Rhames is living the humble Red Man life anyway.

Had this incident involved Red Man, there's a good chance one of the cops might've tripped over RM's cousin sleeping on the floor, causing all hell to break loose.

Let's not forget that would-be burglars tend to answer the door when someone's knocking...
