Defenders was decent. I just wish they had a bigger budget.

What did you hope a bigger budget would've achieved?

Better settings more over the top fights.

I don't think budget affected the quality of the fights...I mean those stuntmen/fight choreographers really take pride in their work.

But yeah one episode dedicated to a fight scene would've been awesome.

But we had three characters with super powers who could have benefited from a little more cash to showcase them. With a little more money I bet Jessica Jones would have full on thrown that car through the window of the Chinese restaurant.

I was pretty curious...so a quick Google search says:

*A Stuntmen's fee can range from $860 for a single day's work to $3,200 for a week's work on a tv series.

*The Netflix Marvel series budgets around $40 million a season...each episode averages around $3million plus to make.

*Defenders estimated $8million per episode to make.

I'd speculate it was more a tight time schedule than budget that restricted more dramatic action sequences.
