In the latest Avengers 688 Hercules requires help to move a machine that has the weight of the world. It  was stated that he needed the help of either Thor or Hulk to do the feat. Given that  N52 SM was doing bench-press with the weight of the Earth for 5 days, and old SM moved a machine with the weight of the planet it pretty much ends any discussion on who's stronger.

He wasn’t holding a planet, he was holding up the heavens as stupid as it sounds.

Old Supes also struggled with moving the moon, and need MM and WW to help him prevent the tilting of the Earth.

This is an excellent Elite top tier feat. Planetary body moving is impressive.

It's amazing that someone who has posted here as long as you have could still come to conclusions like this based on single isolated feats by different writers.

This issue had it stated straight up that Grandmaster-Prime could not destroy a planet under his own power, yet he easily owned the Hulk, who can and has destroyed planets under different writers. This author clearly is not interested in writing characters who can perform planetary-level feats. That does not mean that the same applies for all writers.

Having said all that... yeah Superman is stronger than Hercules and anyone who disputes that is silly.

Cheers.

The SM,WW, MM feat is dubious because they were fighting the power of a Skyfathers at the time. He was hurling the Earth out of Orbit.

Why are you lying, SM has moved the moon in Giant size JLA, the feat you're talking about with MM & WW was to keep the Earth spinning out of Orbit not just to move it. Finally they were going against a person that had absorbed the powers of the Primeval JLA at the time. A skyfather lvl being context matters.

Byrne Superman moved the Earth-Moon system single handed, albeit he had to trick himself into it.

..and Let's not forget that Marvel Earth is a small world that contains small puny gods, like Thor and Hercules.

so we just gonna ignore hercules lifting the universe?

lmao people come to dumbass conclusions like this based on a single low showing and yet superman needed help from the jl members to move a planet, and even braniac confirmed he couldn't move pluto a small planet.

Do you know how to read or you just like looking at pretty pictures? There was a similar scene 1980's or 1990's and during the letters to the editor someone wrote Marvel to explain how was this possible, the editor replied it was just Hercules boasting the scene described never happened.

So if this feat is hyperbole by Hercules. What are the chances of basically the same feat times a 1 trillion being hyperbole also?

Well if the scan is an image of Hercules boasting then those believers should join Kyri3 Irving's The Earth is Flat Church.

Btw...since gecko is here... MM solos the Annihilators.
