He seemed a bit more chill than the people who claim to follow him now a days.

From a certain point of view it makes sense what Frank said about no Hell, I mean if you're a real "Christian" then you really don't need to worry about it... and if you're a non-believer what better way to get butts in the pews than to really sell Heaven and keep Hell on the down low.

“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea” - Jesus

That doesn't say anything about age of consent. Offend is vague as hell. In context, it looks like he's implying that insulting them because they believe in Jesus is a sin.

That's a verse about what should happen to people who try to lead children into sinful lives. A victim is not guilty of the sin perpetrated by a pedophile.

Cherrypicking is standard practice for the modern "Christian".

I'm not talking about age of consent, I'm talking about pedophilia. Let me ask you this, would raping a kid be offensive?

To me? Yes. To someone from two thousand, or even two hundred years ago? Not so much. They tended to view boys as adults at 12, and girls as adults as soon as they bled.

Don't they do that now in some of those Muslim countries (view them as adults)? Old dudes get married to 11-12 year olds?

Not necessarily. For all we know quantum immortality is the truth. Not sure if that's the best option though.

Basically its an offshoot of the Shrodinger's cat thought experiment. If you were to consider these three things, there is no afterlife, that all possibilities of an outcome happen and create alternate timelines, and we can't actually observe our own death, then our consciousness can only continue down the timeline where we don't die.
