I'm sure there are a few movies that sucked, but that one scene was damn good and you wish it was in a better film.

This scene from The Boogeyman was extremely well done. Creepy as hell. https://youtu.be/VNBzjYyGcd0

I dunno if Ghoulies is shitty or not to the board's standards but....

the scene with the clown puppet (hell even before it comes to life, earlier a couple of guys mess around with it and are like....."Wait wasn't that over there a minute ago?")

and where the sorcerer comes back from the dead and takes on the form of a woman and seduces one of the guys at the mansion.....makes out with him....slips tongue....then pulls back....the tongue extending and wrapping around the guy's neck and as he freaks out it pans back over to the woman, who's now the decaying resurrected sorcerer

The entirety of Ernest Scared Stupid

I'll be specific and mention the bit with the girl in her bed

But the movie itself, barring the troll children which I thought were dumb, used to scare the shit out of me

A fact which my oldest brother nowadays tries to co-opt for himself

I had exactlt 2 good jump scares during the incredibly shitty first ANNABELLE movie, but that was more due to my pediophobia than anything.

I got a good scare in Dead Silence. When I was young the scene in "Bill and Ted's Bogas Journey" with the evil Easter Bunny was scary back then.

There's a Paranormal Activity mockbuster called Paranormal Entity that had a decent climax.

The Midnight Meat Train.

Not so much as a scary scene but IMO a cool violent scene...

You're watching through the eyes of a victim as the killer is approaching holding a machete (axe possibly).

The killer swings, the camera slightly wobbles then slowly points to the floor & topples to the ground.

The camera hits the floor sideways peering at a headless corpse & you realise it's the vision of the head looking at its own dead body.

I loved that film as a youth

I was more grossed out by Granny S. Preston Esq.
