Asking to power down characters ultimately means lazy and uninventive writing. A good writer can make any character interesting, no matter how powrful

Lazy and uninventive writing, like continually making a character more powerful rather than coming up with different ways for them to win a fight?

I preferred Wolverine's healing factor as it was in his early days. Good enough for him to take a crippling or lethal hit and keep fighting, though with some difficulty. Good enough for him to heal fully in between fights from one day to the next. It made him look scrappy and tough. His more recent showings, where he shrugs off any trauma and is healed in seconds, is detrimental to his character IMHO.

Go back to his old healing factor levels and, hey presto, no more need for adamantium weapons or Muramasa McGuffins to make him seem like he's in danger.
Been saying this for YEARS, citing his first mini, and X-Men 133  as examples:

Not so skilled that a well trained ordinary man cant still put a hurt on him.

With a HF at well below godlike level:

One of his defining stories is him making his way through a house full of guards, hurting and getting hurt, even having to bluff:

You cant get stories like this if the guy can laugh every conceivable weapon or atrack ever imagined from panel to panel.

I finallly found the issue I had read long time ago in its Italian edition, I wasnt able to figure out the original name.
Loved how clearly Wolverine was superior to any ordinary man but still not invincible,

How can we contact these writers? This is completely pointless. His claws could already cut through anything

What is the point of that?

Well, at least he no longer needs a barbecue or campfire to roast wieners. Might come in handy for his hotdog vending sideline.

Hate.....Marvel....

(actually when I read "hot claws" I thought they were just going to go all the way and give him some kind of X-Men Arcade Game energy projection from his claws)

That reminds me, what up w. a version of the Angel i see sporting energy wings? Why all this superfluous bullshit to simple characters?
Angel has wings. Wolvie has claws. Daaamn, Marvel.
