He served a year in confinement, received a bad conduct discharge and had his rank reduced, she said.

What's the chances he was offered counselling in confinement to deal with his domestic issues?

Zilch?

what odd about the mental health issue, didn't the republican bill but mental health coverage down from where obamacare was

Yes they did. In fact. Here it is.

But, the failure here also seems to be coming strictly from The USAF for not reporting it to the databases.

Maybe they're great psychologists didn't find a mental issue.  And I'd think counseling would par for the course.

Mentally stable people don't shoot up crowds of people. Period. It's a mental health issue.

Mentally unstable people shouldn't have access to firearms. Empirically. It's a gun control issue.

Emphatically. Nuit.

Media was saying he hated his mother in-law & he was expecting her to be part of the congregation.

But yeah...you don't shoot into a crowd just kill one person.

"The man who shot and killed 26 people in a Texas church Sunday was checked into and escaped from a mental health facility in New Mexico in 2012, according to a police report obtained by CBS News.

Devin Patrick Kelley: What we know about the Texas church shooting suspect Devin Kelley was sent to the Peak Behavioral Health Services Center in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, but escaped on June 13, 2012, fleeing to El Paso, Texas, according to the report. His stay at the facility came after multiple incidents between June 2011 and April 2012 in which he beat his wife and stepson, who suffered a fractured skull in one incident...The El Paso police report warned that Kelley "was a danger to himself and others as he had already been caught sneaking firearms" onto the base, where he "was attempting to carry out death threats that (he) had made on his military chain of command."

El Paso police arrested Kelley without incident at a bus stop and turned him over to New Mexico police. The report notes he did not make any threatening statements during his arrest."

Mental health has been openly attacked by the Republican Party since the 1980's, at least. The only time they actually blame mental health is when it suits their agenda. Otherwise they do the pretend "personal responsibility" card.
Who knows more about personal responsibility than rich, entitled white people??

You need to work hard to get rich, just like 99.9999998% of them did! They didn't inherit their wealth from ancestors! They worked their way up from poverty!
