And I had no problems with Nancy until her and Johnathan get the suicidal idea to call Barb’s mom. C’mon... that’s a death wish. And she’s old enough to know better. Johnathan too.

There was a reason why she did that.

Well, I SEE THAT NOW... still uber dumb and risky.

Apparently the high level government agency doesn’t like checking people’s bags to see if they have anything. #civilrightsupheld

That's what I found a bit weird.
In season 1, there was never any hesitation to kill off anyone in the know.

But in S2, the threat of the Upside Down is even worse but "Men In Black" are less violent in their actions & only really resort to covert surveillance.

It seems like Dr. Brenner and the really evil faction of the DOE were wiped out in season 1. The new faction seems more focused on clean up than murder.

Yeah it seems like Brenner and his people were rogue members of the organization.

With the way this season has gone (I'm only on episode 6) I think we should have broken this up into 3 threads.

Or it's sort of an enemy mine-type situation.

I’ve long since finished but I agree with this

AP probably made this thinking it was 8 instead of 9 episodes.

Up through Pollywog, and this show is so damn good. Love the Sherriff/Eleven dynamic. Love the stuff with Will.

Dustin is making a stupid decision, but it’s a believable level of kid-being-stupid... for the moment. I’m also thinking the creature’s corrupting influence might get Dustin in the end.

Actually based on this ep, I predict Dustin and Will will be dead by season’s end. Max and a returned Eleven being their “replacements” in the group as things evolve and change... just not the way Mike would like.

That would be surprising

Which is why I made a thread for episodes 5-9?  We usually split these threads into 4-5 episodes.
