Morty has become the moral(ish) compass of the show and his family will be his downfall.

Even then he did shoot Rick in the head..granted it was a fake gun but he didnt know that

And might of maybe killed someone who dump summer

Jerry oddly even though he not moral might not be evil. He just not particually good. More of a cowardly asshole

Dont know where that put him on any D&D chart

Netflix has Morty's Mindblowers.  I love their anthology episodes.

And now I caught up to episode 9 since it's on youtube.  My money is on Beth being a clone at the end, especially since this season keeps indicating that she is just like Rick has done similar things.

This & Pickled Rick are my favs so far.

I loved Summer's indifference at the end of Mindblowers, especially knowing & shrugging off the abuse she copped afterwards.

Harmon had to condemn some of the "fans" because they apparently were harassing and doxxing the new female writers even though the season has been on point. I wouldn't be surprised that a lot of those fans were pissed a female psychiatrist put Rick in his place at the end of the Pickle Rick ep. Personally, I think the character needed it.

Oh the psychiatrist thing added so much to the episode and I love when they focus on how fucked up Rick truly is

Yeah absolutely. One of the best cut downs for an asshole main character in any series.

I liked that Beth and Rick figured out the shit in the realfantasy land at the same time.

Went a long way to show how smart she actually is, and the whole episode put her little hoof horse into context

How? She barely was in the room with him and basically had him figured out to the point he had to put his defenses up. She walked away confident in her assessment and he walked away denying her truths about him.

Oh, she had him pegged when he wasn't in the room, no doubt.  Anyone could figure out Rick's motivation for why he turned himself into a pickle.  When she called him out on it, he was perfectly fine with explaining exactly why he turned himself into a pickle, then went on to disregard therapy.  I mean, the therapist was right in what she was saying, but Rick still disregarded her by the end.  It wasn't much of a victory, imo.

No, Rick and Beth knew she was right. Just watch how they ignore Summer and Morty who pretty much accepted everything she said and wanted to go back.

They are both just two people who claim to be know everything, but won't ever face the truth about themselves, or even admit they have a flaw that cuts to their core.
