I won't use names in case someone hasn't seen the show yet.
The guests for this week and next became friends of Seth when the worked on his movie "A million ways to die in the west."
Also this week's only really needed to show up, put on a costume jacket and read a one minute message off a cue card.  A cool favor, but not a real imposition.

Still very cool though.
I've heard Seth's a nice guy in RL. Guess it might be true to have these folks giving him a hand like that.

Saw the first ep.  Thought it was pretty good.  Effects & customs way better than expected.

Finished first two eps. This is pretty damn solid. The humor is OK, but they thankfully don't overdo it. It's like a Star Trek ship run by mostly normal people.

BTW, I forsee the holodeck being where Seth does lots of small comedy skits. The ogre and Mexican bandit dancer are just the tip of the iceberg.

Also liked the generational starship episode. For season 1, this show is solid. Not being blown away by anything yet, but this could turn into something great down the line.

You can tell that Seth GETS what made Star Trek great.

I think this show literally gets better every episode.

Definitely has potential to be a classic.

Watching the 5th now.  Is this security from Next Gen?

Identified Isaac's voice.

The prank war is fucking brutal.

The episode wasn't as good as 2 through 4 but still good.

I remember there was rumor Charlize hooked up with Seth before. Since one of my... Um... Coming of age movies is, "2 Days in the valley" I have to admit I'm a little jelly.

They do have good chemistry, i noticed that in their western.
Liked her character, liked its premise, the way she described things.
Hope it gets re-visited somehow despite the ending.

It probably got rushed because they probably had a small window were she was open to be in the show.

This last one was on point.

I like how the conflict with the Krill is being painted in black & white.Aside from the rampant one liners this could have been an ep. of the original series.
A Kelly Hu cameo, Michaela McManus as an oddly hot Krill Female, a nod to Matter Eater Lad...good stuff all around.
