Am I the only adult who hates wine?

I've had everything from rotgut wine to single glasses worth more than dlb's entire trailer park, and I've never once found one that I liked enough to actually enjoy drinking it.

Sounds like you've certainly given it a try. I drink more beer and liquor (whiskey or gin if the gin is mixed)

That said, there are a few wines I like that might be worth giving a whirl if you haven't already:

Red Zinfandel (very did than a white zinf obviously) and Malbec are some of my fav reds and aren't too expensive generally.

I guess I like things like Chardonnay for white, but I'm much less of a conosure (why have you failed me spell check) of wine than I am other forms of alcohol.

My friend is a real wine guy and his favorite is burgundy.

It's not that weird to not like wine. A little weird, but no more so than spending your time posting in a Superman chat room.

I'm not into wine, either. I've had it a few times, but I have no idea if what I drank was "good" or not. Nothing to compare it too, other than the stuff I usually drink, and it sucked in comparison.

Malbec is the only red I can stand.

Yeah, I hate wine as well. I recently tried some pyment(wine mixed with mead) to see if I could stomach it diluted. Nope. Still hate it. Sticking to pure mead in the future.

I like sweet wines which I think disqualifies my taste in wine according to wine snobs. Generally not my drink of choice though. I'd rather have a stout or porter or if its liquor a whiskey sour, long island ice tea, or white Russian.

I like wine a lot, but I usually wait for sales where a $15 bottle becomes a $7-8 bottle.

I prefer a cab or a merlot.

Pricing is bullshit, basically. Don't buy into the hype.

I almost never drink anymore. When I do, I have beer. I never really enjoyed wine.

I have a buddy who's loaded and a borderline alcoholic who will get $500-$1000 bottles of wine over dinner when he comes into town, and I've mooched off of him. I certainly notice a difference over $5 wine, but not over $50 bottles.

Wine also makes me sleep terribly, especially red wine.

I can tolerate some whites, but I've never had a red that I enjoyed

Actually I take that back. I can't remember what the actual drink was called, but it was like red wine mixed with some berries or some shit and then boiled or something. That was pretty okay, but if you have to add a bunch of weird shit to it I don't think it counts

Nah, I know what sangria is. I like sangria.

This was different. It had like spices and shit in it and it was served warm. Mulled wine, maybe? Something like that

If you are okay with some whites, and you actually want to find a red you might like, try dolce rosso. It's a sweet sparkling red. It's fine, but drinking wine isn't really my thing. I do like to cook with it though. A quarter cup of merlot in beef stew is damn good.
