Finished it. Animation was impressive. Overall I liked it

Story and pacing felt a little flat at times. Should have been more then 4 episodes. Ended when it was just getting good

Agreed on all points.

The only thing that bothered me is the beginning. This chick just walks right up to the castle and
isn't the slightest bit bothered by the numerous dead bodies impaled outside, as well as the fact
that this is fucking DRACULA. Was also a bit confused as to why Dracula didn't immediately kill
her. He has no love for humanity, so for him to take interest in her so quickly was equally odd.

Other than that, I thought the characterization of Dracula was excellent. Its more than he's ever
gotten in the history of the game series anyway.

Great animation similar to Ninja Scroll and VHD Bloodlust

Uh, not really.

That animator's style is VERY distinct. This wasn't done by the same guy.

"Great animation like ________" just means it animates well and has nothing to do with art style

Bugs Bunny cartoons have great animation, and so does this

We're trapped in a world where people think animation=art style and for no other reason than because they're stupid.

The Ellis influence is clear, but that's always of a high quality and this is no exception

She said she'd exhausted all of her other options and that she didn't believe in superstition. Her goal was to learn real science, something he (clearly) believed in as well, setting her apart from the other "mere" humans. He was impressed by her unflinching determination and the fact that she knocked on his door and entered, unbidden. Pretty easy to follow and understand. Also: if you'd ever spent time around a woman, you'd understand his willingness to put up with her bullshit for some pussy, you nerdfagvirgin.

That's what I thought as well... Though Vlad must have been damn thirsty because she was pretty annoying.

Yeah, she kept switching from one strong emotion to another and was oddly unafraid that she was chatting to a 7 foot tall vampire.
