Same email says Marvel will buy rights to Spidey in 2020 for $2 Billion...after Sony makes $12 Billion from profits of the franchise.

And something obscure about Emma Stone being Carnage...

(Email's on page 36. KMC Spidey thread)

That e-mail (if it is legit) looks old, it seems to be set before any deal with Marvel was struck and Sony were talking through their possible options. We know the deal changed from that e-mail because according to that (again, if legit) Sony wanted to insist on Garfield keeping the role in Civil War and beyond.

Cheers.

Just come back from seeing it. A solid 9/10. Lots of Easter eggs and a great homage to a classic Spider-Man comic in one scene. Keaton makes a great Vulture.

Saw it yesterday. Without spoiling any details of the plot, Holland is the best live-action Spidey so far, and there were alot of nice moments, including possibly my favourite of Stan Lee's movie cameos. I felt the movie was a bit too long though. At 2h 13m, it reminded me of the Spider-Man 2.1 DVD release, which had a load of deleted or alternate scenes put back in, to the detriment of the film's pacing IMO. The original version of Spider-Man 2 is still my favourite Spidey movie, but Homecoming comes in roughly on a par with the first Raimi movie, and above the last three films.

Yeah, it beats the last three Spidey flicks by far.  I think spider-Man 2 is still my favorite Spidey movie.  I think I'll have to go back and rewatch the first Raimi movie to see which f those two I like better.

Oh man, just wait until you find out about the Vulture or the final battle or the big twist.  Oh, and the end credits are just mind blowing.  Then there's that thing with all the stuff.

Yeah I don't know how Ned survived getting his head cut off at King's Landing. Was it a Faceless Man?
