Most 3/5 and 4/5 ratings. One negative reviewer liked the cast, action, and comedy but didn't like that Peter was bad at his job.

Apparently he doesn't have Spider Sense in this movie?

In Civil War, he said something about his senses being heightened, which was why he wore goggles. Going by the trailers for this movie, he has an AI and a ton of other gear in his mask that lets him see through walls and stuff.  I'm guessing they figured he didn't need a spidey sense on top of everything else.

Amazing Spider-Man didn't have one, either I remember.

From what I read, the director apparently thought there was an over-reliance on it in all the previous movies, but I don't really remember it being a huge thing honestly

Complaining about Spider-Man relying on spider-sense is like complaining about Batman using the Batmobile or Superman sucking too many dicks in a row. It's one of the core parts of the character and his abilities.

That is odd.  The only time it came up in the plot was when the Green Goblin died in the first Raimi movie.  Otherwise, it just popped up randomly or not at all.

It popped up a couple other times in the first movie:
Flash Thompson trying to punch him and time slows down
Catching the food on the tray and realizing he can move really fast

He definitely used it a few times in the Amazing movies, too. Because he's fucking SPIDER-MAN. He uses his instinctive protective power.

If he doesn't have Spider sense he's not Spider-Man.
