Events / wrestlers you're ashamed of having marked out for

I think marking out when Scott Steiner first came back to fight (I believe) triple h is high on my list. I had always been a fan of the Steiner brothers growing up and was happy to see him back, but what a shitshow that was in retrospect.

I was pretty excited about the great khali coming to wwe after seeing him in the longest yard and then watched in horror as every match I ever saw him in was complete shit.

Being mad at randy Orton for turning on Stacy keibler is another one.

I marked out at MitB this year when Ellsworth started climbing the ladder because I thought it would be fun and interesting. But when it became apparent he was actually going to get the briefcase for the women, it pretty instantly turned to "Oh god no".

The reveal of the months-brewing Titantron countdown to be Jericho's debut on RAW. Back when secrets could be kept, this was pretty dope.

The Invasion storyline. I don't remember who was getting the beatdown from a couple of ECW "guys", but I recall the realization that the wrestlers coming out to save them were all "former" ECW guys, too, and realizing a split second before they turned that they weren't there to help the WWE roster.

I remember going nuts for Brutus Beefcake back in the day. Him being first to beat Mr Perfect convinced me he was next in line to fight Ultimate Warrior and get revenge for his pal, Hulk Hogan. So glad I wasn't booking.

Oh.

I got a good one.

When I was an Ahmed Johnson fan, based solely on the fact that he was billed as the strongest wrestler in the WWF during his tenure.

Great googly moogly.

(But I was also 8 or 11. Somewhere in there)
