Top Tarantino Movies Ranked

I would've swapped Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2 around as I still consider the first to be better.  And I might be alone here but I consider Jackie Brown to be kind of boring.  I would put Inglorious Basterds in that spot.  That was a movie that really stayed with me long after watching it.  Almost every scene was memorable.

Hmmm. I love that they put Kill Bill 2 over 1 - I feel like people still generally favor 1, but there's never been much of a contest for me. 2 is my #2 overall.

I'm with you on Basterds > JB, though. And while I don't know if I'd put it behind Deathproof or not, I've always agreed that Django runs noticeably too long. Likevthem all.

Yeah, Django also seemed too commercial to me.  There were a lot of Tarantino moments but the movie had a purely happy ending where everything is neatly tied up, which just isn't QT's style.  That, and there was rap music in a movie that took place in the 1800's.

JB is my least favorite Quinten movie yet it's somehow number 2 on that list

Good list overall.  My favorite QT movies are Jackie Brown and Kill Bill 2 ("fucking with your cash is the only thing you kids seem to understand!", "That woman deserves her revenge... and we deserve to die.") in that order, but Pulp Fiction is a classic so I get it being #1.

I agree with you on swapping the Kill Bills. While my appreciation for it has grown, 2 isnt as good as 1, or as action packed.
Maybe its because its a 'sequel'.
Tarantino movies are unique, and revisiting the same concept just had me anticipating more of what i enjoyed, and not quite measuring up.
If you took many of his movies and split them the way the KB was, the effect might be the same.

Jackie Brown at #2...what can i say? I watched it once and quickly forgot it.

KB2 is character and dialog-based where 1 is action-based. Simple split, if neither is exactly bereft of the other elements.
