Have to say I was kinda disappointed, then again i had been getting gradually less hyped with each new preview after the excellent first one. Would have liked to have seen the Fukunaga version which was supposed to be focus more on Pennywise's corrupting influence on the town and the people over the generations with the straight up horror/monster elements being more ambiguous/downplayed, at least in the beginning.

Off Topic: Do you need to have your name changed back?

Slightly off topic but did anyone else showing have the Mother trailer that said "after seeing It go buy tickets of Mother".  That kinda stuck out to me cause I don't recall a trailer ever doing that.

it isn't the same I remember back in 99, when The Spy Who Shagged Me came out it said "If you see one movie this year go see Star Wars. If you see two, go see Austin Powers In The Spy Who Shagged Me!"

No it was something they just tacked on at the end.  Came off as them desperate for ppl to go see it.

This was pretty damn good; everyone I went with enjoyed it, anyway. I get the love for the legend that is Curry, but honestly? Skaarsgard was AT LEAST as good. And Curry was great.

The biggest problems I saw were:

1. There were two many kids, and at least two were completely extraneous and not needed.

2. The kids were fucking insufferable for the first half of the film, to the point where I wanted them all to die.

Yeah, this was a legit great remake. Those kids were so good, the adults actually have some big shoes to fill. Can't remember that happening before.

It was like Goonies mashed up with Nightmare on Elm Street. Which is as it should be.

I see Justin Bateman, Amy Adams, Steve Farrell and Ed Hepms as the adults.

Amy Adams and three no-names? Sounds risky.

Lol typo. Steve Carell isn't a no-name nor is Ed Helms or Jason Bateman.

They had no named stars in this. Apparently you don't need them for IT.
