It seemed to be they ran out a few yards away.  Unless she was planning on speaking to him while standing a little ways off.  Considering her personality, that might be true.

Yeah thats how I saw it. Or to force him to move closer.

Why would she want to get closer to dirty Yondu? She wanted to bang Starlord and stayed away from him, too.

I really liked Yondu and Rockets interaction with each other. Especially when they started to fuck shit up. I'm a little disappointed we won't get more of that.

Yeah, this movie had a few slow spots, but it was still pretty great.

Its one of those flicks that you watch once and likely will never be able to sit through an entire viewing again. It was ok, had some funny scenes, but I felt like it was all fucking one lines, with like 12 mins of actually story plot. It got pretty tiresome after awhile.

Drax for example was painful to watch a lot of the time, but he also had some of the best lines. If they calmed down the fucking idiocy of the guy by 50% he would have been golden. Just shit like that on so many levels.

It felt like a sitcom. It was the sort of writing that would be great as a ten minute video on youtube. But as a two hour movie you paid for, it was kind of bland.

These guys get it. Drax, the fighter of the team, never fought. He was a stand up comedian for 2 hours.

In fact I'd say that superhero movies are increasingly written as if they were episodes in a show like Flash or such. This was basically a season finale episode plus the first episode of the next season. Season finale: Starlord meets someone claiming to be his father. Next season first episode: the rest of the movie.

So the basically the movie introduced a plot line then resolved the plot line. Like most movies.

Yeah, that's an odd criticism.  Not sure what he's even trying to say regarding the season finale stuff, honestly.

Its like in the Matrix where the first half of the money is about how Neo might be the one. Then the second half of the movie is him realizing he really is the one. Just like tv.

Almost as if movies are broken up into acts. Weird.

There's a different flavor to the way TV does this sort of thing compared to standard movies. Like in Matrix his becoming The One truly makes him a fundamentally different character than he started. In a TV show, the progress is far more incremental, and leaves him fundamentally the same person despite learning a small but valuable lesson.

I think Quill changed a bit.  He seemed to appreciate Yondu a lot more due to meeting Ego.

What about jumping into the Abelisk and trying to stab him from the inside out?  He also tied himself to the ship and hung out in space so he can shoot some bad guys.
