K, so, what?

Colossus killed Cytoraak and now Cain Marko is somehow more powerfuler than ever?

No. Colossus called Cyttorak a pussy and told him to give him enough power to kill him and he'd show him what was up. Cyttorak said cool, but gave all that power back to Juggernaut, basically putting him above classic levels and making him fully immune to telepathy.

Can you give some background on this story? Why does Colossus think Cytorrak wants to die?  Why does Cytorrak accepting mean Cain Marko gets the powers, and what does making Cain more powerful get Cytorrak in this scenario?  Why why why.

Cytorrak doesn't want to die.  Colossus tries to shame Cytorrak into transferring the Juggernaut power from The Living Monolith (who is reeking havoc) back to him.  He motivates Cytorrak to do something different as opposed to the usual avatars that seem to always fail to achieve mankind's submission.  He challenges Cytorrak to give him more power than he has ever given an avatar and Colossus will show him true unstopability by killing Cytorrak himself.

Cytorrak accepts the challenge but instead of giving this power level to Colossus, he gives it to Cain.  I guess he wanted to accept the challenge while fucking over Colossus at the same time.

I guess they really can't decide whether or not to make Cain an anti-hero or a straight villain huh?

Guy tap dances around that line way too fucking much.

Until I see some crazy strength feats, this looks like Juggernaut minus the telepathy weakness... which would be no real factor in a fight with the Trinity.

Of the 10 villains, so far as things of this nature can be remembered going back afore the days the board crashes, 9 filled with dread and cursed in vain at the sight of Master.
