So am I alone in having loved this series? You guys are harsh. I think the Meachums were incredibly interesting from episode 1 through episode 13. They were dynamic and mysterious and had real depth to them. That said, I also don't buy Joy's last scene. That's out of fucking nowhere. But up to that point, I think the Meachum family were the most interesting characters in ANY of the Netflix series that aren't Wilson Fisk.
Danny and Colleen had good chemistry. Colleen was a lot better than any damsel-in-distress type, and had some seriously great scenes.
I dunno. I am a big fan.
If I was grading the Netflix series at this point:
DD season 1: A
Jessica Jones: A
iron Fist: A-
DD season 2: B+
Luke Cage: C
EDIT: I see most of your bitching is about the fight scenes, and honestly? I don't give a flying fuck. On the list of things I'm looking for in a show "great fight scenes" wouldn't make the top 5. This show didn't have nearly the terrific action that DD1 or DD2 had, but I thought the writing and characters were strong. I'm on board.
