I'd disagree on both counts. Diana isn't an Orphan, she's loved and cared for, isn't hard up. She's quite well aware of her destiny. Beyond the, "stranger pulling them to someone else's war".

TFA was trying to be epic. This looks more pulpy and adventuresome ala the Rocketeer, The First Avenger and Indiana Jones.

As I typed this I realized the TFA you were referring to, matched "The First Avenger" and not, "The Force Awakens".

Ughh need sleep.

..so you didnt watch the First Avenger, literally DIRECTED by the director of the Rocketeer, who IIRC worked on Indiana Jones?

Of course, which is why I grouped the comparisons together.

Um, TFA refers to "The First Avenger" not Star Wars.

EDIT: And I just realized you corrected yourself lol

Interestingly enough; makes me think of Captain America more than Thor.

So much so that it may be accused, rightly or wrongly, of ripping it off a bit.

Honest Trailers pointed out how similar both Doc Strange & Iron Man played out...hell a couple scenes were so similar in structure it was like Marvel was just phoning it in to get bums on seats.

AP doesn't even know which war WWII is, even though he lives in South Korea, where we dropped nuclear bombs on two of their cities during WWII!

Thank God Trump won WWII for us. Otherwise we'd be speaking Irish right now.

Heard about a show that puts forth that concept "what if the Irish had won WWII". Think you can stream it on Holo.

hmmm....if my watching of Time After Time is correct it's that the reason for AP's ignorance on the war is because he's clearly HG Wells as ably played by Malcolm McDowell.

I mean....AP...HG.....it's right there.

Also isnt he a teacher. That makes it worst.
