awkward fight scenes,
I remember asking several times if the actor they cast could fight; an Iron Fist series where the above is the only thing i've read in thisthread about the action?
Sad.

This looked bad and i hate the casting.

Were you expecting Iron Fist to be casting spells and shit?

Here's hoping this will be the reverse of Jessica Jones or Luke Cage in that those shows started off great and lost their way in the last half.  Maybe Iron Fist starts off dull and gets exciting toward the end of the season.

Also, I wish people will shut up about white Iron Fist.

Yeah, it'd be one thing if the character was asian to begin with, but he's always been white. Now people are calling for Yellow-Washing. The fight choreography part does bother me though - I thought it looked bad in the trailer and these reviews confirm my suspicion.

The race thing i'm flexible on (Black Deadshot? Not a big deal.). Danny being a white man is too big a part of the character to ignore.
And happy (as only an MB poster can be) to see i was right about the fighting.

Seriously can the guy fight?
Tried Googling and couldnt find any references.
Who knows but they will probably get him in fighting shape before he appears. It's not like Charlie Cox was known for his fighting abilities before DD.
Seems important to me, considering it Iton Fist.
But i can see your panties bunching at me asking, so, please, you guys continue your racial rants. Enjoy the show.
you get oddly defensive about the weirdest things, riv.
Not defensive. Prophetic. ;D

Hopefully it's not as bad as luke cage
Cage was excellent uo until the last acts villain. Stryker was bad.

It was OK form like episode 3 to 7. I don't know, I just found it pretty boring

Cage didn't have enough plot to last ten episodes. Fuck, he spent like a whole episode just staggering around from a gunshot wound.

The acting was not good either. It was campy.

Cage was very good up through the gunshot wound. Then it floundered with the weaker villain (acting and motivation-wise) and jumbled finish. It had some intentional camp, which was fine. I just can't accept being bored or rolling my eyes at the new main villain being lamer than the prior awesome Oscar-powerhouse main villain.

Still well worth watching, but just a letdown finish. Jessica Jones started hot, floundered in the middle, and then finished well. DD season 1 was fucking amaaaaaaazing but had a final episode that (while good) was still weaker than the rest of the season.

So the Netflix shows have all been good or great, but all have had their boring or stupid moments. Hopefully IF continues the trend: some flawed moments/episodes in an ultimately good or great season.

Of the 10 villains, so far as things of this nature can be remembered going back afore the days the board crashes, 9 filled with dread and cursed in vain at the sight of Master.

I thought Cage was good until the villain twist with Marshella Ali.

thought the female baddie in cage could of been good. She had some good moment, but then the 3rd villans popped in and made her look rather weak

Yeah, the consensus seems to be that Diamondback was a huge mistake.  To be fair to critics, if they only saw the first 6 episodes of Cage, I can see why they loved it so much.  I loved it until Diamondback showed up, then everything just went downhill.

A lot of critics are saying that Iron Fist picks up slightly in episode six and hints that it might get more epic.  Here's hoping it has the opposite problem of Luke Cage and starts off bland, but picks up midway through.

It's a blaxploitation nod. Ali, Woodard and Colton were good.

Cage kind of went downhill after they killed Pops.

Diamondback was a bit of a disappointment, seemed like he would be a higher tier guy in the mob to be honest from how he was being set up.

Like; he wouldn't even really "care" about a club.

Yeah I know his connections with Cage and whatnot bringing him into the story but still.

Wanted to like it enough to watch it all the way but only got through to around the episode where he get's fixed up.

I'll probably give Iron Fist a episode or two to see if it's any good but I wasn't too sure about it from the trailer's.

Personally I'm eager as fuck to watch another season of Marvels Netflix installments. Enjoyed everything so far to varying degrees and I'll probably like this on some level. The production value will be above WB/network shows, and that's usually enough to get me interested.

That said, agreed Cage had problems, but like the others, I found stuff to like about it.

Hoping this will be bad in a Return of the Jedi way as opposed to an Attack of The Clones way

Have any reviewers seen the whole season or just the first 6 episodes? We've all watched plenty of shows that manage to rally later in a season and find their footing after some boring nonsense.
