(also: any of the other "This super rich person is funding everything I hate" bogeymen)
Are these guys and their ilk really the huge threats to society/freedom they are made out to be by those that disagree with their policies? Or are they just that... figures with deep pockets that people are angry about because they fund and support causes half the country doesn't like?
Are they subverting the system with their money and influence? Or are they functioning the way the system needs them to keep things moving along without gridlock? Are they too powerful? Are they dangerous? Or are they just bogeymen?
