What are some good Flash comics to read?
« on: February 14, 2017, 08:06:19 AM »

I have never read any Flash stuff outside of Justice League and DC events.
Can anyone recommend some stuff from his own book?

Waid and Johns are all you need. Just started going through the Silver Age stuff and its actually charming as he'll. I'm shocked. The Bronze Age Cary Bates run is good from the bit I've gone through too.

Mike Baron's post Crisis reboot laid the groundwork for everything Wally thats come after, putting him in the red suit for generations to come.
Highly recommend it.

Yep, Waid and Johns. The reason Wally remains one of my three favorite comic characters to this day.

Barry being such a beloved character didn't appear out of thin air. Decades of great (sometimes ridiculous) stories made his death in CoIE so impactful for the people who introduced me to the character.

Wally West is the greatest comic character of all fucking time and I'll not hear a word to the contrary.

Waid and Johns for sure. Like everyone else has said, this is what made me like the character. I remember when it was coming out, it was a must read every time.

No one recalls (cares about) the stories that set up the world Waid/Johns inherited?
