Guy Gardner question....
« on: December 28, 2016, 02:05:55 PM »

Just started reading GL post Flashpoint, including issues with Guy.

Did DC wipe out all of the old Guy's moronic appearances and history pre-FP??

He's like the point man or main commando of the GL Corps. From his careless attitude, he will now take a bullet for the team. He also seems to relish the thrill of battle.

The recent issue had their leader John Stewart assign Gardner the most dangerous task... infiltrating Sinestro's base. Stewart also knew Guy is the only guy for this task... what gives?

Can someone enlighten me, pls?

Allegedly, the Gl verse wasn't  affected by the post, post, post, post 52 shadowlands remix.

GL and Batman are the 2 comics which weren't affected by the N52 reboot

Iirc, his previous idiotic behavior was due to a brain tumor. He no longer has that.

To be fair; Gardner always was a pretty tough guy who liked a fight and was willing to die for others if that's what it came down to from what I remember.

He was also kind of a skeevy jack ass.
