Should MMA and boxing post the official scores at the end of each round?

Just curious.  Been watching TUF, and thought that could change how fighters approach each situation if they knew the actual scores.

Would that be a good or a bad change?....I mean in most sports the participants know the scores as they play the game.

I could have sworn they never normally tell the scores after the end of each round and then the total if it goes the full match.  In regards to boxing of course.  I just thought they went out there and smashed the shit out of one another in MMA.

It's more common in Europe to announce the winners of each rd in between rds. There are pros and cons, both ways. I prefer it how it is.

Nah, they should only be incentivized to finish.

If you're in there, you know if you're winning or losing. If it's close, don't leave it in the hands of the judges. Simple.

Typically, opening scoring is avoided because when a fighter knows he's ahead, the fear is they will coast to a win.
