Threads that I can't see new replies in after a point
« on: August 17, 2017, 12:46:44 PM »
Weird glitch perhaps but there are two threads I've noticed where I can't see any more replies after a point. I see there are new posts but when I click on the thread it cuts off after the same post. One is the character redesign thread in general comics forum (mentioned it in that thread, I think but cannot confirm due to the problem) and the other is Hulk Victoirous ramblings about how unattractive all women are to him in the jungle room.

Not really missing out on anything since it's mostly Riv in one thread and a buzzfeed list in the other, but I was more wondering why that might happen? Anyone know? Anyone else experience something like this?

Nature can only facilitate so much dipshittery before further dipshittery is just absorbed into the void.

It's all science, man.

Having kinda the same glitch too.

I can see that where it states I'm the last person to post on a thread but I can't actually see the post I made...

Oddly enough, if it goes to the second page, I can see new comments. I wonder if, piggy backing off of Wyntyr's theory, if there's just too much data on those pages to fully load? Some kind of cap going into place? As for me it's only in threads where people really go on at length and list 500+ women they do not feel attraction to or a bunch of pics of probably large size.

The old DC Looney Tunes thread had the same problem for me.  Probably still does.

Sometimes I randomly delete posts. Could that be the problem?

By "sometimes", I mean "often"

Looking forward to the next Riv purge, but no that's not the problem here as the post count is going up in theses threads and can be seen when in the forum, but not once the thread is actually clicked on.
