This seems just like when they have Captain Cold and Luthor join the team. Only here we have Killer Frost and Lobo.

I am guessing that Batman tricks Lobo into staying on the team the same way Dox did over in LEGION. Otherwise, why would Lobo stay? Actually, the idea that Batman is okay with a JL team having Lobo on it seems like it would go against his character.

Since Batman is in the back I wonder if this somehow spins out of Batman leading the Suicide Squad.

Honestly it seems weird that classic Lobo is back since he straight up decapitated the guy in story and tossed his head into space or whatever.

Seems like they are going to need some kind of explanation for why he bulked up and decided to stop being so femme.

Or just have it be the old clone running around doing his thing and do a "Cable" and maybe make it iffy "who" is the clone.

So is Lobo in the JLA or on Maxwell Lord's team or both?
Is there a plot point where he leaves one team for the other?

it seems he joins the JLA in the latest JLA vs Suicide Squad

Lobo was on the original Squad, but he owes Batman for freeing him from Maxwell Lord's control by blowing up his head. He gave Batman his word.

Batman told him he could pay it back by joining the Justice League and he reminded Lobo, the Main Man's bond is his word.

That's probably the most powerful Suicide Squad team I've ever seen.

Ha, WTF is going on there?

The plot has Brainiac collecting 'specimens' on behalf of Larfleeze. The Lanterns discover that smashing open the collections makes Larfleeze go nuts and that's a shot of Guy about to break a NuLobo container open.

Okay that works for me.

Thanks Bandido, you've restored my faith in comics getting at least SOME things right nowadays.

To that end I do what I can. Especially because Marvel keeps twisting the knife.
