The show could turn now into an exploration of changing the system. "Bad" Elenor could be used as a test to see if she can really fit in. Have her deal more openly with trying to adjust... plus being a known mistake could make for funny/interesting interactions with the "good" people around her.

That would allow the show a more open-ended sitcom approach. But each season could explore more of the Good Place, Bad Place, and whatever forces manage the architects like Michael and Trevor.

I was wondering the whole time were she was. Hell i've  thought it was fucked up the whole time someone good was probably stuck in the bad place.  Also the ppl  from there don't seem evil more like there just assholes.

Yeah, i wondered too, but i was asking about the Scott character leaving with her again.
Because he WAS leaving with her. He was about to leave with both Eleanors.
Plot hole or plot point, is what i'm asking.

It seems like he only brought her up as a bargaining chip. He's obviously known she was in the Bad Place by mistake but never told the Good Place people before that moment.

Trevor sounds like a simple douche, but we have to remember he's a peer to Michael. And he said he was going to torture El. So he's probably really good at being evil.

Adam Scott is a very underrated actor. He's extremely good at playing really nice guys and complete douchebags to the point he looks like a different person for each type of role. Its almost a Clark Kent/Superman thing he does with his body language.

The flashback scene where she tells everyone off in the cafeteria is probably my favorite scene of the show.

Evil beings doing karaoke of the Nixon tapes is fantastic. I also like that there is apparently a "judge who sits on high" named Sean.

Also loved confirmation that the Bad Place is every worst nightmare come to life, including your food turning into live spiders in your mouth. Interested to see the dynamic of the two Eleanors and Chidi.

Okay that was a great twist.  I was wondering how they could keep it going.  Of course now that we've seen behind the curtains watching it will be a different experience.  Am interesting to see what changes they've made.

Yeah I did not see that coming. I missed what they said about Tahani though. Why did she deserve being in the bad place?

This show went from a fun thoughtful comedy... to a damn good comedy.

This show is one of the best comedies ever.

It needs to give me another one or two seasons before I proclaim it being up there.

Go back and watch season one again knowing about Michael. Everything is even funnier now.
