Fantasy Football Questions & Advice
« on: August 09, 2016, 07:51:30 AM »
We always seem to have one of these, so... here it is.

And here's the first question!

I am in a 2-player Keeper, 12-team league. I draft 7th, and I have no 2nd or 4th round picks because of trades (I fucking traded my 2nd round pick last year for LeVeon Bell two weeks before his injury!), but I have an extra 8th and 13th. Here are my list of keeper options. Which two should I hold on to?

Tyler Lockett - Last round pick cost
Jeremy Macklin - 4th round pick cost
Charcandrick West - Last round pick cost
DeAngelo Williams - Last round pick pick cost
Chris Ivory - 4th round pick cost
Kelvin Benjamin - Last round pick cost
Keenan Allen - 4th round pick cost
Andy Dalton - Last round pick cost
Kansas City Chiefs - 14th round pick cost

I am leaning towards Andy Dalton and Kelvin Benjamin since they are good value for 14 and 15th round picks. But Tyler Lockett, Keenan Allen (even though he's a 4th, though he'd actually cost me a 5th since  don't have a 4th), and maybe DeAngelo Williams (because of Bell's suspension and injury history) are intriguing.

What do you guys think?

Either Dalton and Keenan Allen or both Allen and Benjamin.

It just seems so high. If I had my full complement of draft picks, I might more willingly go Keenan, but... I don't. If I use my keeper on Keenan, I only have two picks in the first 5 rounds.

Especially in ppr leagues, Keenan Allen was CRUSHING it before he got hurt. Rivers kept feeding him, don't see why that would change at all. Especially with Gates being one year older and Ladarius Green in Pittsburgh now.

I'd keep Dalton and Benjamin.

I'll get everything figured out some time this weekend. But I need players still I think. All I know is I am keeping DeAndre Hopkins and David Johnson for like a 4th and 15th rounder cost, respectively 😌

I need to look at my roster. I know I was planning to keep Jordy, but this fool went and hurt himself again LOL.

Sooo...I tried to see my roster from last year, but it's blank. What gives?

Try it now. I just went in and set up the keeper deadlines.

Although with a quick glance I think your two keepers are going to be Devonta Freeman and Jordy Nelson at 6 and 11 round pick costs.

Todd Gurley for a 9th is a no-brainer.

And probably Doug Baldwin for whatever an undrafted guy costs (last round, I assume)

Yeah undrafted is a last round cost.

Which is what David Johnson will cost me 😏

That is/was the plan. I need to see how bad Jordy hurt himself during training camp...

Hahaha... my team fucking sucks.

1) Lamar Miller (fell to me at 7th when the guy with the 4th pick took Gronk. I was happy here)

2) No pick (traded for LeVeon Bell last year... one week before he got hurt)

3) DeMarco Murray (he was the best option left at RB, and that was sad)

4) No pick (traded for DeAngelo Williams last year because FUCK IT I was getting a Steeler RB)

5) Keen Allen (Keeper pick)

6) DeSean Jackson (I was actually excited for this one, too. I chose him over Emmanuel Sanders for my WR2)

7) Tom Brady (I was stoked for this one because I was already using a 15th round keeper on Andy Dalton. I was going to roll with Dalton all year, but Brady in the 7th round and Dalton for weeks 1-4? Great! Too bad they have the same Bye, though)

8A) Kamar Aiken (will either be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd WR in Baltimore this year. Heh. I gambled he will top the chart)

8B) Tevin Coleman (Thought I could wait a round or two for Christine Michael if I took the highe ranked Coleman here. It bit me in the ass)

9) Vincent Jackson (If he stays healthy, he should have a really good year, much better than his pick cost here. IF)

10) Jerrick McKinnon. (Christine Michael vanished after my V-Jax pick, and I panicked here. Should have grabbed a damn TE)

11) Tajae Sharpe (I AGAIN put off TE to grab a potential #1 wideout)

12) Eric Ebron (Torn between Dwayne Allen, Virgil Green, and Ebron after my delay tactics cost me Jared Cook, I took the one least likely to play the first few weeks. Smart)

13A) Will Fuller (I was happy to see him still here at this pick. Enough to give up hopes of drafting a TE2)

13B) Philadelphia (they play Cleveland week 1. Good enough for me)

14) Cairo Santos (I think he's a good top end K, and I was the last team to draft one. I was happy to get him)

15) Andy Dalton (keeper pick)

So it's:

QB: Dalton, Brady

RB: Miller, Murray, Coleman, McKinnon

WR: Allen, D. Jackson, V. Jackson, Aiken, Sharpe, Fuller

TE: Ebron

K: Santos

D: Philly

Yeah, doesn't look like you're winning the League chip this year, bro.
