I've maintained for a long time that it's difficult for Force sensitive people to just grab people or larger objects.  Otherwise, they'd fly.  Even when it's Jedi vs Sith, there are very few instances in which one of them picks his opponent up and throws him.  Most of the time, it's just a push.

I guess they could toss a weapon at him but since he's zipping around on a jet pack, that might before hard to do effectively.  Plus, if they throw their weapons, then they are even more defenseless.

As for Obi-Wan, he couldn't capture Jango Fett when he lost his lightsaber and unlike Snoke's guards, he's Force sensitive, so make of that what you will.

He looks like The Weekend if he got in shape.

So from now on, all their movies are Elseworlds?  They might as well admit they've scraped the shared universe concept.

I see what MTL is saying.  Continuing the illegal wars on these countries is a bit worse than calling them shitholes.

The fact he thinks they are shitholes is probably why he is OK with continuing them and also why he's against allowing immigrants in from those countries.

I think the same could be said with all previous presidents from Ronnie to Donnie, but my point is, people ignore the bombings and focus on the super racist thing he said.  Priorities are a little out of whack.

In fairness, Luke often didn't seem like that big of a deal. He struggled immensely against some random stormtroopers in the speeder-bike fight on Endor. His precog didn't warn him about Jabba being about to drop him in the rancor pit, nor did his TK save him from falling in it.

There's also Obi, an experienced and well trained knight struggling against Jango Fett.

Jedi have a bad habit of struggling against people they should theoretically pwn.

That's a fair point about Luke but the Jango bit isn't much of a low showing.  Jango shot and killed a Jedi at the climax and briefly took on Mace before dying.  In the fight mentioned above, Obi-Wan lost his lightsaber and spent the entire time fighting hth against a guy who was armored up and had a ton of weapons still.  Keep in mind, Bobba was his clone and at least in the EU, he was capable of fighting Force-sensitive people as well.

I assume he could just hover around and shoot them all.  His pack also had a little rocket launcher, iirc, so he could potentially take them all out in one shot.

Seriously, people forget how much Wolverine carried the team and how little of a part Xavier played in the original trilogy.

X1: Wolverine is the one who beats Mystique, fights Sabertooth solo while the team is captured, then sets Cyke and Jean up for the kill shot against Sabertooth and frees the entire team.  Then comes the climax which revolves around the team working together to get Logan up to the top of the Statue of Liberty to bust Magneto's machine, then he finishes it all off by saving Rogue.  Toad is the only bad guy that Wolverine doesn't confront.  Also, Xavier spent most of the time in a coma.

X2: Wolverine leads the escape from the mansion, kills Deathstrike, then captures Stryker.  Jean does have the big save at the end and there's some stuff with Storm, but Wolverine is still the MPV.  Oh, and Cyclops and Xavier spend the entire movie captured.

X3: Cyclops and Xavier die at the beginning, Rogue leaves the story to get rid of her powers, and Jean turns evil.  Wolverine becomes the de-facto leader, confronts Magneto in the woods, formulates the strategy for the final battle, distracts Magneto long enough for Beast to hit him with the mutant cure, then kills Jean.  Colossus exists only to throw Wolverine when he needs it.  To be fair, Kitty, Storm, and Iceman all took out a major enemy each, so there's that.

Well maybe he'll stop this one.

Why?

If the characters are all acting in-character, Zod will say something about humans and then plow the field.  The X-Men will listen, get ready to attack, likely by letting Wolverine go out first, and then get stomped.

Lots of x-villains make speeches and Charles never stopped them.

He's an antagonist in the way Punisher and even Wolverine have been antagonists, but oh well.

The JLA could win on teamwork, but I could see the x-villains over powering them too.  It's up in the air for me.

Yeah, but padawan learners still tend to kick more ass than Kylo.  He's a punk.
