I recall you having a different opinion during that time.  That's fine.

I do believe we should have cameras on the police but all the other NSA stuff does not make us any safer.

Maybe 3/10?

So the thread you wanted is lost?  And needs to be found?

So why post the pic with the tattoos if he's not gonna have them?

He was depowered (more or less) and became pretty weak.

Was there an in-story reaosn or is he just now less powerful for no reason?

Yeah, he still looked good in the first one but there were a lot of funny moments concerning him getting hit (the Hulk punch, getting interrupted by Iron Man, falling on his face after attacking Loki's illusion, etc.)

In part 2, he still shines and has some of his best feats, but he gets knocked around a bit for being one of the Avengers' top dogs.

This whole thread is a spoiler thread, so I don't think we have to warn folks any more.

Yeah, for all its power, Veornica was still getting taken apart.  Tony lost an arm early on and had ot get a spare.  Later in the fight, he called more spare parts as Hulk was ripping him apart, only to have them busted mid-air.  Meanwhile, Thor only got a bloody nose he had to wipe clean only once.

Also, yes to Thor's punching bag status in the Avengers movies.  He seems damn near invincible in his own flicks, so I guess it evens out.

I can't just add on to what you were saying?  You gotta be all snide about it?

You are like the Astro of agreements.

The movie comes out this week in the US, so I figured the folks seeing it in the states can comment soon enough (or see the first few seconds of it on youtube to at least get a good idea of things).  Otherwise, this thread has Hulkbuster vs Hulk spoilers!

So you uh, want to find out if... there is a Titans cartoon?  ???

I kinda liked Watchmen, but it helped that it's dour because the source material was dour. But yeah there was some legit over the topness like Silk Spectre busting people's arms open, and, aside from the opening song, some weird song choices.

The opening credits were brilliant, I admit.  I wanted ot love the movie after I saw them but I was gradually let down during the movie.

I hated the violence of it.  Obviously, Watchmen was a violent comic but the violence came at important moments, whereas Snyder just seemed to want to turn it into a quasi-horror movie.  Instead of Rorshach quietly going insane and chainign the child-killer to a stove and letting the house burn down, he just starts chopping him up with a meat clever, complete with CGI blood (CGI blood always looks terrible).

I'd say Cap and BP both had the upper hand at the end of the two fights mentioned. That's not to say Spidey would've lost, or was anywhere close to losing. I'd compare it to the first round of the first Rocky/Apollo bout. Apollo went in overconfident as the clear favourite, and got dumped on his butt by a determined underdog. He wasn't out of the fight by any stretch, going the distance and winning a split decision. But the knockdown was an early sign that this fight wasn't going to be the cakewalk he was expecting. And no doubt, Rocky would've been (or should've been) ahead on the judges' scorecard at the end of that round. These brief scuffles with Cap and BP could be considered 10-8 rounds for them.

Neither fight lasted long enough to be considered anything approaching a round.  If more than two punches were traded, I could see your point.
