There was a crossover where he and Hulk fought to a typical standstill, but he didn't show much in the few comics I read of his to be considered Hulk-level IMO.

He was bullet resistant in that bullets could make him bleed, but didn't fully penetrate his skin.  Meanwhile, his healing factor took care of the rest.  I have his first few issues.  He could tear up vans and subways pretty easily.  I have one comics where he killed a bunch of bad guys form his own race, showing that he was above the average... whatever he was.  He also killed a huge wolf creature.  Can't recall how strong they were.

I remember him beating up on Impact from Cyber Force and he seemed stronger than the Maxx, both of whom were mid-tiers.

I think he popped up in Gen13 and had a throwdown with Fairchild iirc.

To win you have to be on the republican or democratic ticket. Maybe that will change, hopefully it does, but it won't be any time soon.

I would love to see that change.

True.  Tarkin seemed smarter than the Sith.  He seemed more willing to use diplomacy and knew how and when to set an example.  Also, he wasn't going around killing his officers.  He did inherit Palpatine's dumbfuckery by staying on the Death Star when it blew, though.  One of his men asked him to leave the first Death Star and he remained onboard, believing the Rebels had no chance.  This is despite the fact that he knew they had stolen plans.  He might not have known about the shaft, but there was a chance the Rebels could have found a weakness.  If he did know about the shaft, that's even worse.  While it was unlikely anyone could hit it, taking precautions would not have been a bad idea anyway.

I think in the Rebel meeting before the attack, they say they located what might be a weak spot after analyzing the Death Star plans. From the dialogue, I'm assuming this weakness was missed by the Empire, or they just didn't see how it could be exploited.  Tarkin and everyone else in the Empire probably assumed the Death Star was completely impregnable, and the safest possible place in the fleet.

The Emperor has no such excuse.

You might have a point.  If Tarkin left in a ship, there's a possibility he could have been captured by the Rebels and held as ransom.  Staying in the Death Star might be seen as a smarter move.

Palpatine was an idiot, though.  The second Death Star didn't have a random shaft that could only be hit by a Jedi.  Instead, it had a GIANT FUCKING HOLE IN ITS SIDE THAT ANY RANDOM SHIP COULD EASILY GET INTO.  He really was dead, regardless of how things turned out between Luke and Vader.  Even if the Rebels lost that battle, there was still a good chance a random X-Wing could've flown in and at that point, the pilot wouldn't need Jedi powers to hit a giant reactor.

Barbara Gordon punches the Beyonder out cold.

Depending on the portrayal, Vader can be very thuggish.  So the Empire would probably be less efficient, and possibly less expansive without Palpatine pulling everything together politically.

Yeah, Palpy was the mafia don to Vader's enforcer.  I just got the imagery of Vader walking into Mos Eisley Cantina, breaking knee caps for insurance money.  It was awesome.

Of course, then there are the portrayals where Vader intentionally plays up the thug role and turns out to be a master schemer, soooo...comics.  In this scenario not much changes.

I got the impression this was about the movies.  Don't know much about the EU.  I tend to stay away since they can be wanky at times.

I get the feeling the Dems and the government in general really don't like Bernie and would rather someone like Hilary or Biden get it since they are more likely to play ball with lobbyists, corporations, military, etc.  I hope that if he doesn't get the nom, he'll run as an Independent.

Even as a Jedi, Anakin was a bit of an idiot.  While he was probably their best warrior, he was constantly rushing headlong into battle and making stupid mistakes, relying mostly on his ass kicking ability.  That might not have been Lucas' intent, but he came off as a putz.

I don't think Hillary will be the nominee at this point. The e-mail scandal is spiraling out of control AND she's part of the establishment. Either Bernie Sanders or Al Gore (if he runs) is going to get the Democratic nomination in my opinion.

Wait, Al Gore might run?  When did this happen?

He was mercing officers left and right in Empire, and presumably before and after that.

We see him force-choking an admiral in A New Hope.  Tarkin told him to stop, so he did.

Vader does seem to want to get outside help more often, as we saw in Empire when he hired bounty hunters and was willing to make deals with Lando.  Then again, he ends up capturing Han himself, despite paying Boba Fett.  He also changed the details of his agreement with Lando several times.

So he's pretty wishy-washy, all things considered.  Constantly changing his mind, doing something he hired others to do to begin with, and his knack for killing high-ranking officers for petty reasons might actually make him a worse leader than Palpatine who seemed more willing to delegate (or outright manipulate as Master pointed out) and sit back.  Granted, Vader would've been a bit less evil, but not as organized.

15222
Vader mentioned the Emperror was more forgiving than him, but Vader was force-choking anyone that disappointed him more than once.  I assume Palpy just force-choked motherfuckers more quickly?

15223
Hard to say, at least going by the movies.  The Emperor hardly shows up and Vader didn't seem to object to what was going on around him until it came time for Palpy to torture Luke.

15224
Nice choice in Sackhoff.
Really, there's some good choices out there. Rousey wouldnt be my first but she isnt the worst.

Well, I guess Carrot Top would be worse than Rousey.  The corpse of Michael Clarke Duncan would also be worse than Rousey.

Some Amazon guy wrote a huge response saying that's not how it is anymore. He also says about a half dozen times that Amazon did not order him to write the response.

So basically he admits Anazon has done these things, and clearly, Amazon forced him to write this.

Did he also mention that the CEO OF AMAZON didn't RAPE AND KILL A WOMAN?
