Supreme Power and Superior

Did Supreme Power ever get an ending after?

I just read the first volume, issues 1-18. Once they started mixing it with the Ultimate universe it became pointless.

Superman and Lois has been trapped in Gotham for the last year and Supe's has been powerless like every one else. Apparently since he was powerless he was able to conceive a child with Lois and she's due at any moment. The dome goes down and Supe's gets his powers back. He goes out to see what's beyond the dome and encounters the Flashpoint universe and where he's attacked by Cyborg, Abin Sur, and Captain Thunder. He's holding his own,  mainly just trying to convince them he's not a threat. Then the Kal-El of that world learns of Lois.  She was the only person that had shown him affection and had died, so he goes off to rescue her. He takes her back Thomas Wayne's bat cave, but Superman hears her call for help and he goes all super attack on them and finds them. Thomas realizes he's not a threat and from the same universe that his son is from. He says he won't help deliver the baby because he's not ready to return to that, but Superman can use his equipment. Superman delivers the baby and they name him Johnathon. The End.

nah thats a sandwich. Sandwich doesn't have to be easy. First a pulled pork sandwich is going to take longer to make than an Italian sub. That takes like 5 minutes tops. Second your sandwich is a discussing mess that a heroin addict would come up with.

The tomato sandwich? That's like the greatest sandwich sandwich ever.

I don't consider that a real sandwich. That's more like an actual meal. When I thin of sandwich, I think of something you go make in the kitchen real quick for a snack.

Yeah, pulled pork is hard to beat - heavy on the sauce, no slaw.

Runner up: bananas and peanut butter.

I've never tried bananas and peanut butter and I never will. For me, its bananas and mayo.

What is your favorite sandwich?

Mine is tomato and mayo with plenty of salt and pepper on white bread.

The Superman one was really good. It was a nice return to the version I knew when I was heavy into comics, and a nice end for that character.

Yeah, but the thing is that I remember people bringing it up as soon as he was cast. And there were some that were confused how they were going to explain it, or if they should explain it. So all the media starts talking about it until it becomes a thing that he feels like he has to address. Just like how many regenerations he can go through. They talk about it so much that he eventually puts something in there that feels forced.

Aarggh, this is the stuff I hate. Why does it matter that a previous actor is now playing the Doctor. You don't need to shoehorn this into continuity, its a non factor.

Should Doctor Who abandon continuity?

http://www.kasterborous.com/2015/04/doctor-abandon-continuity/

For the most part, I say no. But I don't think they should be constricted to it either. A lot of the recent stuff feels like they're trying to make continuity fit with what they are doing now, when they shouldn't worry about it and just let things be.
And this is why NuWho Sucks.  The old show paid almost NO attention to ints continuity but it took its stories/reality more seriously...(for the most part) where as the Nu show pays WAY to much attention to its continuity but its reality is something a retarded 5th grader would come up with.

I see your point Fly.

Yeah, that is weird. That's the problem I had with the ending to season 5. You have all these aliens there in 1 BC, yet technically for them, some of them hadn't even met the Doctor yet, like the Cycorax. So they all show up together from that time period or someone brought them there from across the time stream, doesn't make sense. Then the plot points are picked up through the next few seasons all over the time line.

I think Foggy's reaction had more to do with him thinking Matt was blind all these years. Now he finds out Matt can "see" (well, not really, but to your average layperson that's pretty much what his radar allows him to do.) So all these years, Matt's been faking being handicapped. It's as if your best friend, who's been in a wheelchair the whole time you knew him, suddenly stood up one day and said he was just kidding. It will fuck with your head.

I think that's the plot to the Flash.
