Sentry wasn't able to knock around Ultron's innards. Don't think that tactics worked for several upgrades. Also don't know that Ultron has anymore BFR options than Shaggy, except that Ultron can presumably fly back. I see this fight going on for a long long time.

Didn’t Sentry almost tear off Ultrons Head? I don’t think he ever faced classic Ultron either
If this is what you're referring to...

...i dont consider that classic ultron, like at all.

Think there's some interesting contrasts between these characters, also thought it might make for a good fight. Who wins?
Pretty much a split. They cant put each other down, 'realistically'.

Last few eps have buolt up nicely.
This last one did a great job of putting all the various plot lines in play.
The Winchesters are going to have their hands full.

I'll go with interesting/pretty good for the first issue.
It did a nice job of setting the mood.

I've seen a lot of ppl online complain at how 'dense' the issue was.
That kinda cracks me up.
Today's comics do tend toward larger panels and splash pages.
The original Watchmen certainly did not.
The first issue at least, was faithful to that.
I'll be watching to see if it (the look of the comic) continues.

The only A-list actor I've seen pull off voice acting is Dwayne The Rock Johnson.
^^^Cliffjumper?

Also meh on the streaming service. 26 eps is a great commitment, though. Gives lots of room to explore shit, so thumbs up on that.

Music, Movies, Tv and Books / Re: Why do most cinematic universes fail?
« on: November 23, 2017, 06:46:41 AM »
Well, it is true that a lot of these universes are failing.  DC is hanging in there but isn’t doing great.  Meanwhile Dark Universe, Ghostbusters, and Sider-Man Universe all failed as soon as they left the gate.
Not disagreeing with you, but i doubt we've seen the last of those franchises.
Hollywood's pretty good about throwing good money after bad/throwing shit up against the wall till it sticks.
They may never reach MCU heights, but they'll be expanded on, i think.

There was so many different legal issues with Captain Marvel. From Dc suing Fawcett which caused the merger to them not doing anything with Captain Marvel allowing Marvel to step in and make their own.
That would be an interesting ep. if done.
I mean, i know the story, but seeing it retold, there are always little things i might learn, even after all this time, or just opinions from different sources i havent seen cited.

^^^not trying to be glib, but IMHO, this is really an example not everything you see on the internet being true.
He's got his take on things, but its just that, not fact.

Dont have the solitude to sit through 15 minutes of that right now, but, i thought everyone knew that Marvel specifically set out to create a conematic universe.

Hard for me to gauge Cyborg, as at KMC (where i see him debated) he fluctuates from top tier to scrub depending on his opponent.
Still, greater variety of powers has to slant things in his favor right?

Picked up the first issue just now.
It just seems like one of those books ppl are going to be talking about, and i'm going to wish i'd read/end up reading after the fact, so i'm just gonna go ahead and do it.
The Johns/Frank combo doesnt hurt either.
